Susan Bainnson is a seasoned litigator with a wide range of complex commercial litigation experience.  She has litigated cases all over the country involving diverse issues and clients, including foreign individuals and entities. In addition to trial experience in both state and federal courts, Susan also represented clients in appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second and Third Circuits, as well as in various state appellate courts.  She also has extensive mediation experience involving both court-annexed and private mediation settings.

Susan is a graduate of SUNY Binghamton and Cornell Law School, where is served as the chancellor of the moot court program and an editor of the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy.  Following law school, she worked in several boutique law firms where she gained extensive litigation experience in a variety of practice areas including employment, professional liability, products liability and aviation law.  Susan joined DuffyAmedeo LLP after spending several years as a career advisor for law students and alumni at Brooklyn Law School.  During those years, she was a frequent speaker on professional development and career issues at the New York City Bar Association, and National Association for Law Placement (NALP).

A truly hands-on litigator, Susan prides herself on the personal relationships she develops with her clients.  She is a passionate advocate and dedicated advisor, committed to seeing clients through all phases of the litigation process.
